Hello my name is Donatella Saggiorato, i come from Italy and i am living in London since 2001.

I am in a disperate situation, and i would like to have some help.

I would like to go back to my Country (Italy), but i can't, because i got married 3 years ago in London, with an Iraqi boy, which he doesn't have a passport because he is a Kurdish Feily.(His Nationality was withdrawn by Saddam Hussein regime).
He's got the Resident Permit in London untill 2009 because is a member of my family; He 's got the Marriage Certificate and a paper "sal.1 IND" given to him by the Home Office when he came to London, but he can't move from here.
I've been to his embassy several times, but not help at all...i called the Home Office and still no help.
So i would like to have some help.......because i really don't know what to do....

What can i do to go back to Italy (my Country) to start a new life with my husband?
Aswell because my mother is sick, she can't walk and i need to be there to help her, but how can i go without my husband?

I am Italan, Do i have the right to go back to Italy, my Country, with my husband?

I would appreciate your help

I am waiting to hear from you soon.
With regards
Donatella

Since the Home Office have not been of any help, try asking your member of
Parliament to write to them on your husband's behalf, if he is unable to
obtain a national passport from Iraq. He may be eligible for a Home Office
travel document which would enable him to travel. But I'm certain that he'll
need an Italian visa in order to settle in Italy with you.

Good luck

Have you spoken to the Italian embassy? They may be able to tell you
exactly what documents they need the Home Office to issue, or they may
be able to issue some form of travel document.
