query on british naturalisation

Dear all,
Greetings. I was wondering whether someone could help me with the following query.

I have been living in the UK first as a student then on a work permit and early last year obtained my permanent residency (after 4 yrs of work permit). Currently I am employed as an University academic and own property and have my family ties in the UK. I will be compleing my required period of 1 year of post residency in early march of this year and I intent to apply for my naturalisation soon after (using the services of home office approved centres). To make a long story short, I have met all the requirements listed by the IND.

A year and half back I married an american citizen (by naturalisation) and it was after that I obtained my UK permanent residency. My husband at the moment is in the US owing to his professional commitments and will be able to relocate to the UK at the end of this year. However, to facilitate my travel to the US, he applied for my green card and I was issued a "conditional green card" (meaning it is valid for 2 yrs in the first instance) in late last year.

Now here is my dilema. Since I have to disclose the nationality of my spouse in my UK naturalisation paper work (not to mention that my conditional green card visa is stamped on my passport), will it affect my application process. Meaning, I am concerned that the homeoffice might have issues over my primary country of residence-UK or US. Any suggestions would be welcome.
Thanks,
B

Not a problem .... just proceed to apply ... preferably using an NCS
office, rather than just posting the application.

Presumably you already have a pass certificate for the Citizenship Test?
